Background
The movies The King and Commissioner were effective movies at the box workplace during their interval. Casting

Filming
The capturing of the much talked about film started at Trivandrum on 6 May 2011. Mammootty registered the set on 13 May and Suresh Gopi on 27 May. After one circular of capturing in Trivandrum, the capturing moved to Kochi and then to Delhi. Some scenarios were also taken in Kozhikode. It is revealed that the capturing of the film was going on in Kochi, when the earnings tax raids at Mammootty's property took position. Mammootty had to be provide before the researchers and the shooting was late a few times. It is also revealed that the ill-health of Suresh Gopi was another purpose for scrapping the capturing of the film.
