SCORELESS DRAW IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

AC MILAN
AC Milan managed to end the game in a draw against Barcelona in the Champions League quarter finals here on Wednesday. Barcelona super star Lionel Messi said that they deserved a win in the match against AC Milan.

Both the teams were able to get three shots on target, but Barcelona's attempts were thrice that of AC Milan who had just three attempts.

Barcelona managed to connect 82 percent of the passes. Since the first leg of the quarter finals have become a scoreless draw, the second leg would be a thrilling one, when both the sides would be looking to keep their Champions League hopes alive.

Barcelona as compared to AC Milan had more possession. AC Milan played in a different way, calm and controlled in order to manage at least a draw. "In the next match we can get two results from three (a win and a draw) so in respect to (before) tonight we have a slightly bigger chance (of progressing), notwithstanding the fact that Barca are the best team in the world," Milan coach said.

In the other quarter finals, Madrid had defeated Apoel 3-0. They are now in a commanding position. Real Madrid scorers were Kaka and Karim Benzema. Their victory may help Real to advance to the semi finals.
