Plot

The movie protects activities during the 2009–2010 school year and follows learners and their loved ones from Arizona, Ms, Atlanta, Wi and Ok. It also protects the testimonies of Tyler Long and Ty Smalley, who dedicated destruction after being harassed.

Production

Hirsch was a sufferer of violence as a child and determined to create a documented so that the invisible life of harassed children would be introduced into the open. He contacted the non-profit company Broken Atlas which offered him partially financing for the movie. Significant additional financing was offered by Sundance Institution Documentary Finance, The New Finance, BeCause Groundwork and Severity Movies.[10] The film's music was consisting by Ion Eileen Furjanic (former member of the group Power Theory) and independent group Bishop Allen.
In a testing in Oregon in Sept 2011, Hirsch informed the viewers that he, himself, had been harassed, and that was aspect of the creativity for the movie, and for the route he took it. In an appointment with a Double Places Judaism news website after the testing Hirsch continued:
"I sensed that the most challenging aspect of being harassed was connecting," Hirsch said. "And getting help. I can't register individuals' support. Individuals would say things like 'get over it,' even my own parents. They weren't with me. That was a big aspect of my seeking to create the movie. It's cathartic on a regular base." Hirsch said he expected the movie increases far beyond him, motivating loyality, involvement, and power not just in those who are being harassed and in their loved ones, but by those of us who all too often stand by and do nothing. He mentioned, "I wish we build something which is really maintainable. I wish this takes on a life of its own."
