NUTS CAN SAVE YOUR HEART

Several new studies have proved that eating about one ounce of unpeeled raw nuts like almond can save you from the risk of having heart diseases and type two diabetes. For the first time, scientists have found a close link between serotonin and consuming nuts.

Serotonin is a component that helps in the transmition of nerve signals thereby reducing the hunger and keeping us happy. Thus serotonin reduces the risk of heart diseases. The major symptoms of MetS are high blood pressure, high sugar level which increase the risk of heart diseases and also type two diabetes.

To ensure that nuts would reduce such risks, scientists put on a survey to distinguish between nut consumed people and those who are totally devoid of nuts for a few weeks. The main conclusion drawn from this survey was that the amount of serotonin was increased rapidly in the urine of those who consumed nuts.

This particular study proved for the first time the necessity for consuming enough nuts in daily diet. As a result one could reduce his/her risk of having heart diseases and type two diabetes.
