NEW
DELHI: Indian cricket tremendous duper star Sachin Tendulkar, treated like God
by his fans, had scored his 100th century ( international ) after a long and
tiring wait of about one years at the Dhaka's Shere Bangla National Stadium
Today ( Friday 16th March 2012) which is of the history moments of Indian
cricket.
Tendulkar,
the leading run scorer in the history of both Check & one-day cricket,
achieved the most dreamt 100th century by taking a single off Shakib Al Hasan
against Bangladesh in Asia Cup.
Tendulkar
scored his century after 138 balls in which they managed to take ten fours and
a six , and in his 100th century they made his fans by the amazing shots. The
Cricket God, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar's 99th century had been scored
against South Africa on March 12, 2011, at Nagpur in the work of the World Cup.
Friday's
century was Tendulkar's 49th in one-dayers; they has 51 Check centuries. Tendulkar,
who was left stranded on 99 international hundreds for a year & days,
played Check series against England, the West Indies & Australia.
They also featured in the recently concluded
triseries in Australia but his dream to become the first person to score 100th
century was discouraged in some occasions in which they was bowled out when
they was close to his 100th long waited century.
Tendulkar
has defied age & injury at every stage of his career. Whenever injuries
threatened to stall his career, they pushed his body to the limit, &
sometimes even beyond. Even the most threatening of all his injuries - the
painful tennis elbow (in 2004) - could not break him.
They
cried out in agony, waited with hope for a year, tackled it with determination
& ultimately conquered it like only they can.
In February 2010, Tendulkar became the first
in world cricket to score a double hundred in one-day internationals, while in
December 2010 they became the first to score 50 Check tons, both landmarks
achieved against the best pace assault in world cricket - South Africa.
In 2007, Wisden had identified Tendulkar as
the player to have won such an award for 1998 - had it been instituted then.
Wisden, regarded as the bible of cricket, named Tendulkar as the leading
cricket player in the world for the year 2010.
His passion for the game not only keeps him
going, but also gives him the chance to reinvent himself. Each time they goes
out on to the field they appears to be raising the bar for himself.
Tendulkar,
who realised his long-cherished dream when India won the World Cup in April
2011, was also named in Wisden's 2009 Check XI, at his accustomed number
position.
