Laptop Battery is a very delicate as well as a very important part of the laptop , a laptop has no meaning without it . We cant expect a laptop battery to work for infinite hours. In fact laptop power supply is regularly wearing out and it has only a restricted life, you should know that there is nothing you can do about making it get back to its complete health. But when the substances within responds gradually which results in reduced power supply potential, there are some techniques you can do about it, and that's what we are going to talk about here about.
The usual methods of battery flashing doesnt work for these Li-ion battery because they don't have any memory effect moreover For Laptop battery unlike mobile battery and other battery , flashing doest work well because laptop battery are occupied with inner controllers, capacitors, voltage controllers, current regulators , etc just because when you flash it the inner chips get shorted and then battery would be of no use .
There are several methods for the restoration of the laptop power supply and that differs from keeping power supply in the fridge where the same old freezing chicken pizzas are stored to the removal of the outer covering and replacement of each of the standard cells inside.
Method 1
Recalibration Method.
Recalibration technique is that you will have to strain your laptop to 5 % charge and then renew it completely to 100% . This has to be done in a particular way so that you can achieve up to 5%.
I will be describing to you these in a stepwise way.
1. Go to the energy choices and make a new energy strategy and name it something like recalibration or renew or anything you wish. Next modify the configurations of the new energy strategy (I like to call it "recalibration") and modify the settings (when you dim the show, off the display, and put your laptop to sleep) to never in battery power option.
2. Now stimulate this energy strategy and detach the cable.
3. Hang on until battery power is cleared.
4. When battery power is cleared shut down the laptop and then renew it to 100%.
By this phase your battery lifespan will be enhanced by 20-30 %
Method 2
Freezing it.
This is a very effective phase in increasing power supply back-up and life of your laptop power supply. In this phase all you have to do is to discharge your power supply to 50% and then wrap it around in a plastic air-tight cover and keep it in the freezer.
Wait for 15 hours.
Then take your power supply outside and let it warm up to the room temperature. When it comes back to room temperature you can take it out of the plastic cover and then renew it to 100%.
This method will give you a 40-50% increase in your power supply back-up time.
Method 3
Replacing the Cells Inside
This is a very innovative phase and don't do this unless you know how to solder and do the electronic stuff.
In this phase you will have to eliminate the external covering of battery and substitute all the standard cells present inside while you keep all the electrical circuits unchanged.
It would be better if you drew a circuit plan. By this, you are essentially changing battery without much cost
